Children explore mythology of monsters Lurking under our beds, in the depths of the deepest lakes and beneath cemetery headstones are some of the scariest, most thrilling creatures we’ve ever encountered…

They frighten us, intrigue us, mystify us. We can’t get enough of them.

Yet, behind every brain-eating zombie, blood-sucking vampire or slippery sea monster is an incredible history, a story and culture.

Children went monster hunting along with Jill Malusky, the Massillon Museum educator. Weaving pop culture, history and creativity, the children immersed themselves in folklore dating back centuries.   more
